Mama surprised me today with a ipad. I'm rather surprised, but she said it was about time. And since our building has free internet, I thought I'd give it a try.

Is there anything people recommend to do on an Apple product?

A galge game you can play in real time! Since you'll have it with you at all times, you'll always be able to play it!

Galge...? [She really has no concept of these so she nods.] It sounds fun to be honest. But I don't have a CD Rom on this one. Are there digital downloads for it?

...Eh? [Maybe she got carried away.] I've never looked for a digital download.

Mmm, well iPads generally don't have a CD Rom function built into it, unless it was an actual laptop. I don't think I can play this game without any externals plugged into it.

Some of the games have digital downloads, but I never looked. If you don't buy the disc, you can't get the cute artwork!

Oh it comes with art books as well? Hmm, well if I ever get a full laptop instead of an iOS device I'll see about it.

Some of them! But even the ones that don't have some really cute art on the cover. After you complete the routes, you can get skins and extra pictures!

Hmm... well I'll have to look into it. Maybe I can get a CD rom plugin for my device as well.

It's the best. You can use the Ipad for other things.

Hmm... well I'll see if we can spring for a connector then. We're kind of short on space in our new place. That's why I got the iPad.

Yes, my father moved us from Minato to Yokohama. For his work actually. I wasn't too thrilled about it to be honest.

So you had to move to a smaller house? There's no fun in that.

Well it's not like I'm bothered by the lack of space. It's more that we left the place I called home for years. And I left my friends too.

Yeah. Not that I had many, but there was enough to make it count.

I rarely get to go out back to Minato. So I'm stuck in Yokohama.

I can't impose on Eater all the time for that. And I feel, I guess like I'm just using Yayoi-san's public one.
